Abingdon Track Day on 18th March
Discussion
I have just booked onto a Track Day at Abingdon on the 18th March with Motorsport Events.
It would be great to have a few more TVR's there.
I am in a group that includes a couple of Lotus, a Peugeot 107 probably an R8 or E46M3.
For this e who don't know Abingdon it is safe, very safe, being an old airfield there is nothing to hit and it has a nice assortment of corners.
I hope to see a few there.

I've considered Abingdon, but not sure whether my TVR will pass their 100db sound check.
My Chimaera 500 has a standard exaust, but got 103 db at Goodwood.
Andrew.
Not had to do a sound check at Abingdon before, it is mile to a house so I have never seen it enforced and the initial measurement is done at what you say is 4500 rpm no one checks. My Chimaera 500 has a standard exaust, but got 103 db at Goodwood.

Never had a problem in my de catted Cerbera.
Unlikely but if there’s still space I might make a late swoop for this one, I’m picking up a race car on the 14th that I’ve never driven before and could do with a wee shakedown before racing it at silverstone on the 25th/26th. Of course testing is completely sold out so I’ll be going in blind in someone else’s motor
Not a TVR unfortunately but a Jag XK8
