Event is fully booked.
I've paid my outstanding balance and booked into the Brackenborough for the night before. Nice hotel but last orders for food is early (8ish IIRC) so will be heading up a bit earlier than last year.
See ya'll there.
Paid my balance last week to TVRCc and got my new silencers sorted today, so hopefully no repeat of last years dramas!I've paid my outstanding balance and booked into the Brackenborough for the night before. They don’t look pretty as the ones they replaced, but thanks to Tim @ACT for sorting out this special order and Heath and Paul at XWorks for fitting them…certainly seems quieter, so hopefully I’ll pass the sound check.
Time is moving us closer to the day.
I now have an essential site meeting on the Wednesday morning that I said I have to leave at noon on the dot
Sorted out my dash pod - new fixing screws for the screen and frame, dry joints on the leds fixed.
My new tank plate is being modified but now struggling to get some PTFE coated cables. UK suppliers seem completely incapable or unwilling to deal with a small order (over a week so far with two suppliers waiting for a price including me calling them three times). Ordered some off evilbay from China but won't be here until after Cadwell.
Replacement driveshaft and CV's ready to be swapped out.
Need to fix and fit the battery cover.
After that, and depending on the weather, swap the boots to the 16-inch spiders with TD tyres.
Parental units coming over tomorrow so should get driveshaft and battery cover done with me pops.

Just got the battery cover - apaulinging repaired by me - to fit. I hope to get the TD wheels checked for balance tomorrow. If the weather forecast is dry(ish) I'll swap them on on Tuesday and fit the battery cover at the same time.
Then just need to brim the tank, fuel containers, tools, pack the car and drive to the hotel.

Just a quick reminder to complete your indemnity forms, watch the MSV briefing, and bring your driving licence tomorrow.
Thankfully the good folks at the TVRCC called me to remind me (they'd sent the forms to a mis-spelt email address so I'd not got them originally). Just in case anyone else is in the same boat I thought a reminder here wouldn't hurt.
See you tomorrow folks
Andy
