Assuming the alternator swap 'fixes' the car laugh thinking of doing this day on Tuesday the 1st Nov;

Great price! I'll be booking a garage.

Any takers?

I should be back from my Italian travels by then. I have missed out on my track days this year so would definitely be up for it .

Well the day was a washout.

Sighting laps were fine but when I went out in anger the car was all over the place. I assumed it was too low tyre pressures for the damp so came straight in. Then there was a red flag. Then the heavens opened. Stopped raining around noon. Then started again after lunch. I called it a day at 2:30 when a 5-inch deep river was running along the back of the garages laugh

Of course 20-minutes down the road and I was driving in bright sunshine.

Ce la vie, it happens when you book a November trackday. I've had plenty in the dry so a wet one was due.

On the plus side the car ran great. No other issues arose. Roll on Brands on the 25th.

Too late in the year. They are cheap and then reducing the price further for a reason. Weather, temperature, leaves. Mugs game.

They can be great fun - but definitely one for a last minute booking if the day is not sold out, rather than booking up a month ahead.
We seem to be in a run of rubbish weather right now. I have had some outdoor painting on the agenda for a fortnight now. Not one 24 hour period free from the risk of rain.
