Dear TVR enthousiasts,

We will give it a try again: 'Back to Zolder 2.0' . We proudly can announce that we have set a date for this great event:

May 27th 2022 ! This is the Friday after Ascension day.

For those who have never experienced a Continental Meeting, here is the provisional programme. If you search the internet on Continental Meeting TVR, you will find a lot.
Our club without the yearly event at the Zolder Circuit feels without a soul. A team of enthousiast members are now working on a renewed Continental Meeting 2022.
The total cost for the event (circuit and support) is estimated at €24.000 As local TVR club we can not carry that financial risk alone. To be able to mitigate the significant financial risk by the Dutch TVR Car Club we have set some additional conditions:

1) we need minimally 75 participants registrated upfront
2) a prepayment of €100 is mandatory for a confirmed registration
3) ultimately march 1st 2022 the minimum goal of 75 registrations is achieved

These measures are taken in order to prevent that the Dutch Car Club eventually is confronted with a financial loss as a result of too few participants or behaviour influenced by weather.

Registration is open to all TVR's. Other cars may be considered by the organizing committee, but TVR have preferred status.
The cost per car for a full day on Circuit Zolder with an interesting event program is €250 for Dutch TVR Car Club members and €300 for all other participating TVR owners.

The maximum sound level is 98 dB(A) drive by at track side ...........

When registering we kindly request to immediately tranfer per bank €100 (free of cost) to IBAN NL06 INGB 0002 4903 87 on the name of TVR Car Club Holland with reference CM2022 and your name!
If the Continental Meeting is cancelled because of too few participants or a Covid 19 measures you will be credited the full registration prepayment.

After a thrilling day on the circuit we will have our famous price giving diner at the Hotel van der Valk in Stein (please note this is not Heerlen) , with a cost per person of €40 (standard drinks free till 22.00 hours)

We will not directly mediate the hotel rooms, so quick reservation of a hotel room in Stein or nearby is strongly recommended. Cancellation is free of charge at van der Valk Hotels till 12 hours before the target date. You may also book in Heerlen or a B&B, but be aware that the diner is in Hotel van de Valk in Stein.

DISAPPOINTMENT ALL OVER

Disappointment is the only word that the comes up when we look at the number of participants from the UK for the Continental Meeting 2022, May 27th @Zolder in Belgium. ONLY 4(!) subscriptions, two days before the closing date of the event. In previous years we had over 30 participants from the UK, even in 2020 when that one was cancelled due to Covid unfortunately. One of the great things of this event is that we have participants from Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland and even Sweden. To make this event financially affordable for the Dutch TVR Car Club we need at least 75 participants. We think this will be the last time we are able to organize this event.
