I have received many private messages and questions asking about the TVRCC "Thrills in the Hills" event and the Blackpool Thunder car club "Thunder in the Hills" event and the understandable confusion. Hopefully this will clear things up a bit.
Firstly and probably most importantly it is 2 separate events run by 2 different car clubs. Thrills in the Hills is not back under a new banner of Thunder in the Hills. Thrills in the Hills will be back on July 24th under the same TVRCC banner it's always had.

Thrills in the Hills is the original TVRCC event with a track record of being one of the best TVRCC runs on the calendar and with a huge record breaking following that has grown year on year. In 2019 132 TVR,s attended from all parts of the UK and some from abroad. This TVRCC event will continue and is now a full weekend event with Saturday being the Thrills in the Hills run in the Peak District and Sunday 25th the Rebels on the Seafront run to Rhyl. Check sprint for details and the TVRCC website.

Thunder in the Hills is the BTCC event also taking place in the Peak District on a different day. There are some small changes to the Thrills route and lunch stop, but i think its fair to say its maintaining alot of the original character of the Thrills in the Hills run but just under a different name and club.

So 2 almost identical events, Thrills in the Hills still the original event run by the TVRCC and Thunder in the Hills run by the BTCC. Hope that clears things up a bit. I am sure you will have a great TVR day out whichever one or both you are attending. Main thing is finally getting the TVR out and meeting up again.
