TVR/MoC Home Counties: Possible weekend away in Suffolk

Hi everyone!

I have just started to look at the events for next year and I thought I would start off with this one...

Weekend away in Suffolk

The proposal for this event was that we organize a short weekend away in Woodbridge, Suffolk at the Ufford Park Hotel in Woodbridge (which includes full Spa, health and golf facilities).

The agenda for the weekend would be something like, but fully open to suggestions...

On Friday...

• Arrive and park up. Folks could then either do crazy golf, golf, go to the spa, hang out & drink etc. until evening meal.
• We could alternatively arrange an afternoon drive out somewhere. There are plenty of quiet road in the area, which go across country etc.
• Dinner - normal or possibly BBQ
• Private parking

On Saturday...

• There are plenty of transport museums, airfield/air museums, railway museums within 60mins drive of the hotel that we could book tours around OR do driveouts + fish'n'chip run OR do a mixture of the above
• Dinner - normal or possibly BBQ

On Sunday...

• Brewery tour and runout OR museum visit OR Sutton Hoo etc.
• Pub lunch
• Home

These are only a set of suggestions of course

For those not interested in cars or museums, there are also lots of other things to do in the area. I just suggested the above.

The dates I was potentially looking at are...

• 17-19th April OR
• 2-4 October OR
• 16-18 October

These are to avoid other conflicts with events, kids, family holidays etc.

The hotel details are http://www.uffordpark.co.uk. I stayed there earlier this month to see what it was like and it was a nice, modern place.

The costs for the weekend would be...

• £99 per person per night for B&B (double/twin room)
• £85 per person per night for B&B (single)
• 3 course meal is usually £25 extra. Drinks are of course extra!

If you are potentially interested, could you let me know in the next 2 weeks or so and which dates you could do (or prefer) and I'll look into getting things booked.
