Hi all!

As discussed with everyone earlier this year, I would like to propose a visit to the
Stowe Maries museum - http://www.stowmaries.org.uk - on the 12th of May.

For the event to work, we would need at least 15 people to come.

Stowe Maries is essentially the only WW1 aerodrome still existing. It has a museum,
a collection of planes, a small restaurant and is similar to Shuttleworth, but still being
restored and focused on WW1.

What I propose is to...
  • Arrange a guided tour around the facilities/collection
  • Arrange an afternoon lunch (or morning)
  • Arrange a runout to the site (which is very remote in Essex), but not that far away from me
If you are interested, please let me know and if we get enough people, I'll arrange something
after I confirm with them the date is available.

There is a video of some of the site here when I visited with the Lotus club last year.

Thanks!

I've visited twice before. A very interesting place and would highly recommend the tour to get the most out of your time there.
Put me down, plus one.

Unfortunately, Stowe cannot do the 12th now, but are proposing the 26th of May, does that work for folks?

Hi all!

Whilst we have had a good response to this event, I still need 2 people to bring it up to the magic 15 needed for a group booking.

As such, can I see if anyone else is interested in coming? Currently, we have...

* Paul+1
* Me
* Simon+1
* JohnD
* RogerD
* Patrick+1
* SteveH+1
* Mark+1

...going.

Anyone else interested?

Thanks!
