Hi all!

Following discussions today at the meet, it was suggested and agreed that we would do a fish'n'chip run down
to Aldeburgh sometime in late March as an opening event just prior to the AGM and seasoner opener.

As such, I would like to suggest the 24th of March as the run-out date. The trip to Aldeburgh from the A11/Saffron Walden area takes about 90 minutes to get there. I propose we would meet up at the

Fourwentways Service Area, Little Abington, Near Cambridge
CB216 Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Then drive to the Fish and Chip Show from there. There is a local council carpark near the town centre
where you can park. Directions for the run to be provided later.

If you are interested, let me know and I'll get it planned.

Thanks!

I'll get some route suggestions put together over the next few weeks and see what
picks our fancy.

I do have a 2 week business trip to India coming up in Feb, so that's taking my time
away from club stuff. So it may be late Feb, early March when I post something.

Which type of route do people want...
i) Straight there - quickest/easiest - A roads
ii) Mixture - mostly quickest/easiest with a few detours, but nothing too major
iii) Cross-country - Back roads, country lanes, out of the way route, may add lot to travel time.

I would go for option of A roads to beyond Bury-St-Edmunds then head cross country.

Looks like the majority of people I've talked to want option (i). Simple route going directly there, so that is what it
shall be...

Hi, we’d like to join you for this? I’ve just joined the TVRCC so will work out a login and check the route - then hopefully meet you all on the 24th. (Purple Chimaera).

As we are in Norfolk, we might join you in" stripy" if the refurbished wheels are back in time this week - did the same run in January with the Norfolk and Suffolk TVRCC guys, so it would be nice to do it when it is a bit warmer too..

Might see you on route (we will catch you) or there..

wink

Great drive-in - well done Alex for finding such a varied route! 250 odd quick miles on good roads, lovely weather and great F&C smile
