No Noise Limit Track Day @ Rockingham Raceway 24/AUG/18

Cerbfest Meets TVRCC @ Rockingham Raceway for a
NON SILENCED TRACKDAY, yes that's what I said!!
Friday 24th August 2018
"OPEN TO ALL TVR's"
So then boys and girls I said I'd get us an Un-silenced Track day and I have done just that but now I need your help!
We need 70 cars all and Any TVR!
This will take place on Friday 24th August at Rockingham Raceway in Corby (NN17 5AF)
The TVRCC have agreed to work with us on this but are taking a large Financial risk so until we get the numbers up it's still only a maybe it will happen day! We need 70 cars to keep the cost under £200 each. We aim to take deposits for people to confirm your interest and place!
I've literally spent 4 months trying to sort this for us all, trust me this is a once in a life time opportunity to get it right and if it works we hope to make it an annual event! An Un-Silenced track day in the summer just for us in going to be something Special.
Who's in?????????

Worth mentioning that all need to wear long sleeves and long trousers if in the car, and helmets of course are required for drivers and passengers.
Even though it is possible to get 16+ aged passengers in the rear of a Cerb, they won't be allowed - only two per car.
It's safety, they want to be able to get everyone out quickly in the case of a flaming crash.
Organiser, well done for doing all the hard work. It is REALLY appreciated.
The TVRCC has just learnt a lesson regarding informing people about deadlines.
On Friday they cancelled the 3rd April trackday at Cadwell Park because they only had 23 signed up with a month to go, and they had to cancel at least a month before the event, or pay in full. But they had neglected to tell us they had a deadline.
There was a storm of protest and 22 people immediately signed up on Saturday - they had been fence-sitting, waiting to see what the weather was like and if they had a working car, not to speak of holiday demands from Erin Dawes, to whom they are related by marriage (for now), it being scheduled for Easter Tuesday. The TVRCC committee then got in touch with the track owners yesterday, and it is back on again.
SO, if you have a deadline by which time you need everyone's deposits in order to test viability, please tell us the deadline, LOUD AND CLEAR. Your event is planned for the Friday before August Bank Holiday Monday, so we are in a similar situation, ie people not knowing what family commitments they might have by then. I for one have not yet booked, but fully intend spending the day at Rockingham. My car is only 97 Db, but I feel the need for a little Cerb thrashing.....

In reply to QBEE,
Seriously boys and Girls. Fence sitting is NOT an option. It has taken me 6mts and hours and hours of phone calls and persuasion to get us a un-silenced Track day, not alone in the summer but also such a good price.
We have until the end of March 2018 to fill atleast 50 places (currently approximately 30). Or he Track DAY will not go ahead. 70 places in total need to be filled so that the TVRCC are not out of pocket.
This is a rare opportunity not only can you enjoy the full potential of your TVR without silly Track cans you can also try and keep up with the real boys in the Cerbs 😜
Honestly this will be an epic event and I truly believe if we can't make it work this time round we won't get the opportunity for a track day like it again.

Absolutely not Phil. Doing a track day is the best way to help improve your driving skills/ ability.
It's also the reason we are planning to run different groups of drivers depending on there ability.
We also have a few regular track day drivers/race drivers coming on the day who have said they are more than happy to go out with people who wish to learn.

Your in more peril driving to and from the circuit, this is an ideal opportunity to try your TVR on track with others. We've not exactly got a track plan put together yes as we can't get it provisionaly booked until we have over half the deposits in.
As it stands we have been told that we will be able to use The main circuit which is the ISSC or long variation of it!
Once we have the deposit paid with Rockingham I will push to get all the information and pics of the track we will be using
