Well, here we are a week before Christmas Eve and hope all is well and shopping going to plan? With my Grinch hat at the ready and a stock of red wine to hand, I am looking to survive!

So with Christmas out of the way, what a better way to get away from the family travails / sales (or whatever else excuse is needed) and join us at The Travellers Rest, Bradwell, Hope Valley. S33 9HG 0n Wednesday 27th, from 1.00pm.

This is our traditional Christmas "pully" meet, so the brighter / funnier the better - there will be a prize for that judged to be the best.

As ever, let me know if sustenance is required (yet another turkey dinner!).

Hopefully, see you there, but in the meantime, have the very best of festive seasons.

Well, the weather forecast is looking good:
Clear, sunny and bright, and not too hot to go topless! smile

So don your best festive pullies/ sweaters/ T- shirts/ leotards/ lycra onesies/ whatever, and join us at the Travellers!

Better than reheated sprouts for lunch! yikes

I know that Mike, but have also found that due to my advanced years, hypothermia has started to aggravate the old incontinence. frown
Even though it was was a balmy -4°, the considerable wind* was causing quite a chill factor, plus I was running late for our meeting, and I couldn't be bothered with the faffing about.
Obviously if I had been going out for the day, definitely roof off.

* in no way due to all the sprouts!
