Season Finale Event - 1 October
Discussion
This year, the TVRCC Season Finale Event is the Wentworth Woodhouse Gathering on Sunday 1 October. (Moved from Chatsworth, the venue we used last year).
This is one of the largest houses in Europe, and is currently being restored by a Preservation Trust. It provides a superb location to display our cars on flat ground close to the house.
You may recognise the place from television programmes like King Charles III, and Victoria, alongside many films like Mr Turner, and Wives and Daughters.
In addition to the usual tyre kicking and banter around the TVRs we have a range of TVR-related stalls; craft stalls (including: jewellery, soft toys, TVR memorabilia); and some special Yorkshire style entertainment and food!
Also, special tours of the house with reference to their historic cars will be available. Cost of entry is just £5 per car if pre-booked via the Club office or £7 on the day. Email office@tvrcc.com or telephone 01952 822126.
On the Saturday before (30 September) it is the Wentworth Run Out (organised by the High Peak region) and starting from the Wentworth Restaurant, S75 3DL, at 10.00am. So why not make a weekend of it!
For further information please contact Tony Hodgson with a private message.
We hope you can make it again this year

Yes Mike. As the local organiser I welcome any and all TVR enthusiasts. You will need to contact the TVRCC Office to pre-book, and they will need your TVR car registration number for the E-ticket they will send out.
If, for some reason, you arrive in a non-TVR car, that's fine as well - though we will ask you to park in a reserved area away from the TVRs so the photographers amongst us don't get upset.
Cheers. Tony.

I do hope there will be good turnout for Wentworth this coming weekend.
For some reason it doesn't appear to have the same cachét with the TVR crowd as Chatsworth, but it is a worthy replacement venue, centrally located with easy access from all over, and not as restrictive as Chatsworth with their arrangements and requirements.
Plus it is somewhere different for a change.
Perhaps there are too many died-in-the-wool TVR owners who are resistant to any change? I say "Try it, you might enjoy somewhere different!"
To compound matters, there are so many clashing events this coming weekend that spread the numbers of TVRs thinner on the ground, which is a shame, but you can't do 'em all!
I sincerely hope that in future, Wentworth Woodhouse will grow into one of the "Must Do" events of the TVRCC calendar.
Hope to see as many of you as possible make the effort to join us, either Sat or Sun. Or both!

Totally agree Glen ......maybe 'The Northern Powerhouse' event is not fully appreciated by those dyed in the wool people. For some reason it doesn't appear to have the same cachét with the TVR crowd as Chatsworth, but it is a worthy replacement venue, centrally located with easy access from all over, and not as restrictive as Chatsworth with their arrangements and requirements.

See you there.
For those going to the Season Finale do at Wentworth Woodhouse on Sunday, I suggest using J35 to leave the M1 motorway, even if you are coming down from the North. I will have signs from there to Wentworth Woodhouse. ! The post code for your Sat Nav is S62 7TQ, and it should get you straight there if you miss the TVR signs!
There is lots of food, drink and TVR gossip available. There are also some unique items of TVR craftwork and memorabilia – not to be missed.
Tours of the House can now be booked on the Sunday at just £5.
Cerbfest 2, Andy's Wedges, and lots more to see.
Also, we have the run out on Saturday, starting at 10.00am at the ‘Wentworth’ Restaurant at the A616/A61 roundabout. The post code for that is S75 3DL.
I know that lots of us are going already, so please come along and join us
