High Peak Nomads TVRCC June meet 6pm Wed 28th June
Discussion
This months Nomads Meet will be at 6pm on Wed 28th June at the Barrel Inn, Bretton S32 5QD
Enjoy the spectacular views over the landscape from the lofty escarpment viewpoint of the car park over the road from the pub.
It's not far from the Gliding Club field at Great Hucklow, so if you arrive early, you may get to see one or two sailplanes soaring overhead. "Round; like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel... "
And I will be there with our Nomads sail flag.
( I wonder if I could fly if I had another? )
Sorry, I got a bit carried away there...
Please let Richard know if you want to book a meal place.

Will we see the welcome return of BNU, the Yellow Peril?
And will "Topper" Harley make an appearance???
"Topper" Harley was reportedly sojourning in Italy. And will "Topper" Harley make an appearance???
We hope all is well, Kev.
But BNU is back!!!
And sounding very healthy indeed
A shame the weather was a bit manky.
I think all the "Road Closed" signs coupled with the drizzle and wind may have put some Nomads off, this was the smallest attendance since our inaugural meet three years ago.
But I have always had the wind.
I expect our July meet will have the biggest turnout ever to compensate!
Details to follow later. Watch that space --->
Hi to all, unfortunately I was not back from Italy in time for this meeting. Everything is going well and I am slowly getting used to the Harley. If TVR ever made a bike this would be it, sounds great, lots of power and performance and like the Tuscan scares you to death when you floor it. I am making good use of the polish from the Tuscan and hope to be at the next meeting Great to see BNU back on the road Richard, it looks very wet and windy up at the Barell....
