Always a fabulous day out. Looking forward to it already.

Drive the Nurburgring of the North smile

Normally 105db session day, not sure about this one.

Great news. I always enjoyed it but missed it the last couple of years that it was run. Date is in the (virtual) diary.

Unfortunately it clashes with a certain group tour. Saw the date in Sprint and penciled it in just to realise during the Wedge Xmas Lunch that the dates clash. Given this is exactly what I would like to see the TVRCC organise I am gutted, properly gutted not to be going.

Track day and B&B booked a week ago.
Was there about 10 years ago on a TVRCC trackday, loved the circuit, the cars and the people.
This'll be my second visit. Hope I don't have to wait another 10 years for the next one.

All booked too!

It will be the first run out in my 4.0 Red Rose Engine that I picked up this morning from Str8six.

Hopefully I will have more luck than my last track day at Goodwood that results in 2 rather large holes on either side of my engine block

Perhaps I should clarify, I picked the car up with the new engine fitted as opposed to picking the engine up and fitting it myself! I really can't take any credit for the work, Jason and co at Str8six did a great job in getting it turned round so quickly. It does feel noticeably better

Shorts! I will have to show you the picture of the engine out of the car, it looks worse than it did at Goodwood if that is possible.

On the plus side I will end up with a nice Speed Six Engine Block coffee table or wine rack

Quick work whoever did it.
This way you have five weeks to get a few miles under your tyres and get it run in.
See you in Lincolnshire . . .

For anybody who doesn't know.....

TVR Car Club Track Day - Cadwell Park 4 September 2017 - £145

Entries are limited to 60 for this Club event. Commercial track day Companies aim to get 93, but the TVRCC want to give owners as much space on track as possible, hence limiting the number of cars. In the morning it will be Sessions in order to give beginners chance to build up speed. And in the afternoon it will be Open Pit Lane as a trial this year. There's free instruction from two TVR owning/racing/MSA approved Instructors. Non-track dayers are welcome to attend to watch and mingle.....

Realise it is short notice, but anybody going who has a pair of standard Tuscan exhaust cans we can borrow? Got a chap coming, but he has a noisy exhaust and is worried about passing the noise test? Cheers.

I have some Chimaera 2.5 inch track cans anyone can borrow. Only a fully decatted Chim should be anywhere near 105db. I don't know if they would fit a Tuscan.

I am at Newark on Trent, on the way to Cadwell for most southerners. If you need to borrow them let me know asap. You can pick them up in the way. Sadly I cannot be at the track - work has got in the way
