TVRCC Hampshire August meet

Hi everyone,

Sunday 14th August’16 is the National Drive Your TVR Day, and also happily falls on our Hampshire TVRCC Monthly Meet at The Milburys. The aim of the day is to get as many TVRs out and about on our roads as possible. So we have decided to merge the two events and have come up with a cunning plan. A plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel!

So we meet up at the Milburys as normal at 12:00, enjoy the TVRs, some refreshment and great company of course. For those that meet up at Portsdown Hill for the pre meet convoy at 11:00 to 11:30, this will happen as normal.

Then at approx. 13:30 – 13:45 we depart in convoy to Goodwood Motor Circuit following the attached route. If you have walkie talkie radios, then don’t forget them as well.

Who's going up there and where exactly is the meeting point please.

There are usually a few people that meet there but I don't know what time I will check my emails from Eric. I get to the pub for 12.30

Is it just a drive there or is something going on at Gooodwood ?.

This safe route takes us via the Wheely Down Road to Warnford, then left onto the A32 and right onto the A272 at West Meon Hut traffic lights. Then on via Petersfield on the B2146 to South Harting, the B2141 and the A286 to Goodwood Motor Circuit. Once at Goodwood enter by the main entrance and turn left into the parking for the café on the outside of the track opposite the pits. Total of approx. 29 miles and 50 minutes.



I really hope you can all make it, as this is set to be one of those not to be missed events.

FWIW, I intend to be at Portsdown Hill between 11.00 & 11.30 for my first ever TVR meet
(I presume it's the big car park; Mick's Monsters?)
