Hi folks

Something for TVRCC members only this one...

Just an idea to see if interest...

I am doing a track experience at MB world later this week and just out of interest I spoke with them about
custom packages using their wet running slipway and track.

Essentially, they have a standard package which is £475 for their AMG SLS tracking which runs for 3 hours.

Now my thought is we could perhaps up the number of people involved, up the time involved to maybe 5-6 hours
and then split the costs and the track time between those taking part, maybe throw in lunch as well. Let's say that
costs about £650-700 all together (just making up some figures here using the other events as comparators).
If we get 10 people going, then that is £65 per head - and 5-6 hrs to play with on track with various of the MB
cars/instructors.

More people - less cost - less time, but still more than enough for a good day out. If people want more track, then
they contribute more to the cost than others.

Could also try and squeeze in a Brooklands pass as well for the group...

Just an idea atm, if no interest, then I will not proceed further. If some interest, then I'll talk with MBW and
see what options we could have.

Thanks!

Me as well please and if on a Sunday or Monday then add my wife. Would only be interested if it was a lowish number (ten max) to keep the track time worthwhile and fun smile

Sounds like fun. Can do any day assuming it hasn't already been booked out.

So that makes 8/9.

As mentioned, it makes sense to limit this to 9/10.

I've done this by chances of people coming and in first.

I'll talk with the event people at MB on the next week or so and see what can be arranged.

Maybe best to have 2 sessions on different days and split people between them.

Keep putting names down and I'll see what the results of talks are.

Thanks!

Cool. All added.

I did a session yesterday with them to play with a couple of the AMG cars - plus the SLS.

Very good! Staff were very friendly, professional. The instructors gave you advice on how best to
brake, deal with skids, deal with tracks, etc.

All in all, very impressive setup. biggrin

Ok, been in touch with MBW and they will come back to me with some quotes tomorrow or Friday and
we'll take it from there.

I'll try and tweak what we get for a variety of skid pan, track and braking in performance cars with instructor
(maybe a mixture) with some light lunch/snacks added and see what they come back with.

Ok, I'm dropping this one.

They are asking silly money for even just 2 hours and to be frank, the options they were offering are not
worth it.
