This popular run is back on the calendar for Saturday 21st May. This run takes us through some of the most beautiful Peak District scenery.
We had 50 TVR,s last August so lets try for a few more this time. This run has something for everyone. We have some of the best driving roads in the UK, and some of the best scenery. The run includes a few blasts over the moors such as Long Hill near Buxton. Plus some tourist towns and beauty spots.
Lunch parking this year will be at the Poole's Cavern and Buxton Country park in Buxton. Here you have the choice of lunch or even a guided tour with more "Thrills in the Hills" in the spectacular Cavern. Not to be missed.
The afternoon run takes us through more lovely Peak District scenery and our own mini Alpine Hill near Crowdecote. Then we re-group for a parade lap through Matlock Bath with its thousands of tourists, mostly bikers. So lets make some noise again for the bikers !
The run ends at the very spectacular Monsal Head pub, one of the most photographed views in the Peak District and not to be missed. Great location for a meal and a beer.
Hope to see lots of you there.

The meeting Point at the start of the run is HASSOP STATION CAFE DE45 1NW. They have a very large car park and serve a delicious breakfast menu from 9am. Please arrive early if you want breakfast. This is about 5 minutes from Chatsworth and Bakewell.
START OF THE RUN IS 10:30am

Hi there.

I am a Griff 500 owner living in HK, but my car is in UK.

Coincidentally, I am in UK that weekend, driving from Surrey to the Peak District on 21 May, before doing the NC500.

I shall keep an eye out for updates on this event, and may try and join!

Cheers,

Terry

That picture sure does draw you attention cloud9

All being well and good, I'd love to be apart of it and would be my 1st at this event.

Hopefully a few more from the WWM region will join in.

Diary check seems fine so I'll be there in Cerbera, hopefully I'll drag a few of the other MK TVR/PHers too.

Looking forward to it as my 1st one.

The start location for this run is the lovely Hassop Station café, DE45 1NW in the heart of the Peak District just 5 minutes from Chatsworth. If you require breakfast before the run please arrive early. They do an excellent breakfast menu. The café opens at 9am and we hope to start the run at 10:30am

At 110miles away I hope there is a Shell filling station upon arrival (unless I set off at 2am and do 45mph all the way lol)

Hi, we usually have a few arriving and staying the night before. There are lots of accommodation choices in the Peak District.

Where abouts are you heading up from? I'll be coming from Cambs if you fancy a convoy up there?
