High Peak Nomads TVRCC Meet 1pm Sun 31st Jan 2016
Discussion
Hello Nomads!
First, may we wish all you Nomads a very happy & healthy New Year?
You are probably wondering what "the management" have planned for this bright and shiny New Year.
To begin 2016, our first regional meet will be held at 1pm on Sunday 31st January at the Ladybower Inn, Bamford, S33 0AX.
They do excellent food and you are assured of a warm welcome. Looking forward to seeing you all, if you require a place at the table booking, please let Richard know in advance.
I have no idea what the weather will be doing, but chains and snow shovels are optional. Or skis for those with a special set of skills......
However, there are far worse places to be snowed in if it comes to it.
It will probably be a bright crisp sunny day.
See you there whatever the weather!

I don't see why not, it looks very tempting to me: A great spot for a bit of base jumping! Anyway, the person in the photo sporting a parachute looks like a lady to me.
Perhaps she is Lady Bower?
Great to see you all despite the inclement weather ( at least the snow held off )
Thanks for welcoming my bro-in-law Barry with his lovely white S2, Paul in his Toyota so that our RO didn't feel so bad about appearing in the Celica again, and my two sisters Jan & Jo all the way from Essex. They were responsible for taking care of the wine surplus. We were sorry to hear of Tia's accident, and we all wish her a speedy recovery. Take it easy on the self defence lessons for a month or so!
Our new trainee marshal Imogen ( 5 months ) seemed to enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Hopefully she will be fully trained ready for Chatsworth this year. Her hi-viz tabard is ready If she is walking by then! If not, we'll just have to rope in her Mum & Dad instead
Looking forward to our February meeting at Stanley.
I am busy trying to work out how many Victor tankers we will need to get us there.......
