My lovely wife looked with horror at my email inbox just now ........... About 500 emails headed up "TiTTs". yikes
She thinks I am starting a Katie Price Fan Club or something. hippy
Trouble is, the more I try to explain that it's a bunch of lunatics driving around tunnels for fun just as the first sparrow is straining to fart, the less she believes me. Apparently I will be sleeping with Sam tonight. He's my border collie.....

Good warning - and can I add to it, for anyone used to the sane world, there are damn all petrol stations in central London. There are a couple near the start, but after that the next one I spotted is 400 yards after the finish, as you leave Battersea park for Brooklands.
So for heaven's sake, don't arrive at the start with only 20 miles fuel on board.

There used to be a Shell site about half a mile directly due south of Southwark Bridge but I haven't been down there for about a year so not 100% sure if it is still there but should be.

We have just arrived in woolwich from Portsmouth, so only up the road. Cerby behaved herself, although she decided not to start this morning. Can't wait

Not been that way for a while, but as the streetview has the completed Shard in the background, I'd be amazed if its gone!

There's a BP not far from the start point and a Shell a little further away I can run people to before the off if needed.

Theres a really good pub in the Royal Arsenal called the Dial Arch if you fancy getting out of the Lodge! Simple to get to...but some bloody black clouds heading this way!

Lodge has free parking outside so Cerby is hidden in a pack of cars. We have booked a meal at the lodge, so will probably stay there now. We will be at the meeting point 6 sharp with soar heads I think lol.

Good call as its just started to hammer it down!! Stay dry.

Theres a BP station on the way to the start point if you need a top up, you may have come past it on the way in.

Hi, Did I see a thread here somewhere about a group meeting at Thurrock Lakeside services prior to the run into the O2, If so anybody know what time the rendezvous is.
Thanks
There is a thread somewhere - M(att )Poxon will know. Do a search on his name and PM him.
Logically, to get to the O2 in time to leave at 6.30, they would have to leave no later than 6.00, and probably anything up to half an hour to an hour earlier, as they might fancy the chat and bacon sarnie at the start..
The Harlow lot are departing at 5.15, for comparison.

Misses won't go out in that rain! She's voted for staying at the lodge. Looking forward to a breakfast bap and coffee at the meet point. Just hope the Cerby wants to start in the early hours and doesn't play up!

All booked in to a hotel at West Thurrock for tonight so I guess that's me confirmed. All being well I'll be coming to Brooklands as well, so if someone with know-how could add me onto the table that would be grand as I'm a bit limited to what I can do on this work computer, and I need to get a shift on the get down there!

R7EBO, Tuscan, Hull, Brooklands.

Many thanks
I'm meeting up with a Griff owner at Thurrock Services (Esso site next to M25 and Lakeside) at 5:30 tomorrow morning if you fancy a small convoy up with us. Anyone in your hotel will tell you how to get there biggrin
This the one you need?

Don't blame her! Its proper spanking it down.

Its a bit fiddly to get out of that bit of Woolwich too, as ideally you'd wanna turn right at the end, but you cant. You can do a convoluted u turn via Castle Road, Polytechnic St and Wellington St to bring you back round on yourself.
