Well, weather has improved for tomorrow’s track day at Brands Hatch. Should be cloudy all day but you never know!

I have decided to run road tyres as Brands is a pretty slippery surface when wet and my track tyres have close to zero tread left!
Keeping my fingers crossed for the weather too Peter.

See you tomorrow.

Weather looks even better, if not perfect for tomorrow. Leaving the old Triple 8’s on for one last outing, (I know, I’m tight!).

Weather improved. Looks like I can get there for around 10am.

One more sleeps.

I think we all had a brilliant day.

Brands hatch is an interesting tight circuit with lots of elevation .

Here is a little video of me in my TVR Boxster following Stuart, MK1fan In his Tamara for awhile plus lots of others circulating.

I definitely need another another 100 BHP, 250 just isn’t enough.

Unfortunate for the guy in the Tuscan, who was under instruction on lap two of the first session.

About 1 minute 40 seconds..

The number of cars that were bottoming out after Paddock Hill bend was suprising. Perhaps an open day / weekend at Mat Smith Sportscars doing geo set ups would help out biglaugh

Really pleased with the set up on my car. Throwing out some soot along the main straight though biggrin

Good videos Peter, thanks for sharing.

Looking at that Tuscan after the incident it had a nasty scuff down the side which I wondered whether or not it might have been caused by the incident (or the marshals!), but it looks to already be on the car when he pulled in front of you in the pit lane.

One short vid from me:

and a few photos:

My car was bottoming out all over the track so need to get that sorted asap! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Outlon in July!

Cheers
