Needed, budget surround sound dvd combo £100 to £200 any ide
Discussion
As the title says really. My original schedule of upgrades has been killed off due to a major decrease in funds so I currently have a dedicated room with a ceiling mounted projector, and a 7 ft wide screen with DVD player that has given up supplying sound. Rather than let the room go to waste I want to buy a simple descreet system that at least gets me watching movies again. I have been around Comet and Currys etc but thought I would ask the PH massed knowledge if anyone could recomend a system that supplys sound and seperation over and above it's price so to speak.
Large speakers are a no no as it has to all fit around my B&W speakers, stands, Alpha 8 amps and marantz KI CD, as all of this is "stereo" it has to remain a seperate sytem to the "cinema"
(the original plan had been to incorparate the Alpha 8's to power the front and sort out a way of flying rear and centers using an AV amp but this is too complicated / costly for the moment)
Any ideas or sugestions would be welcome
