Jittery Blu Ray play back

Hello all. I purchased a Blu Ray the other evening and I intended to watch it on my laptop tonight however when I come to play it, the picture and audio is really jittery. All my software im using (Cyberlink Power DVD 10) and my graffix and sound cards are all up to date driver, update and patch wise. I have a reasonably specced laptop, Intel Dual Core T6400 Processor (2gGHz), 4 gig ram running on 32bit Vista home premium. Im unsure on what the issue may be. I have nothing running in the background that should effect my movie play back at all. Any ideas?
