2.1 systems in the +/-£100 bracket
Discussion
i'm not a massive audiophile or cinema-buff but i would like to better the standard sound output of my sony bravia tv.
i don't want a 5.1 system as i don't want speakers everywhere... i just want a sub and two small speakers.
i also don't want to pay the £200-£250 commanded by the sony or onkyo systems which seem to be the only options for me.
my problem is that all the +/-£100 systems come with dvd players which i believe act as the amplifier for sub and speakers... i already have a blueray player so i want a 2.1 system where the amp is within the sub and is powered by a remote control. this also rules out pretty much all of the multitude of 2.1 systems orientated for pc or laptops.
any thoughts?

I refer you to my previous reply at:

Should assist, albeit the remote control aspect would be your TV remote control volume button rather than a dedicated remote.
