I'm putting together a small system for my office.

I have an old Panny 42 which has the following inputs:

AV in (composite and S video)
RGB/Component in
VGA in.

I'm not using my main amp in here so have no source switching.

I have 3 sources.

PS3 - Running on an RGB out at the moment
Skybox - Has 2 scarts
DVD player - S video, component, scart etc outputs.

So, whats the best way of running all 3 in, and using which output, and which input

Cheers,

Charlie

PS3 to component in, assuming it's HD.

DVD into VCR Scart on Sky Box, should be labelled as such. Sky box scart to either composite or RGB Scart.

Do you have the model number of the Panny?

I would put the DVD into the S Video, assuming the screen can switch between S and composite?

PS3 - Component
DVD - S-Video
Sky - Composite (or to VGA if you have pennies to buy a converter)

Or if you have Sky+ with a S-Video output

PS3 - Component
Sky - S-video
DVD - VGA (use a component - VGA lead, switch the input to RGB in the TV menu, on these early sets you can send component in via the VGA)

or do a search on ebay for a TUPT600A + termial board on fleabay and see what pops up.

I use a JVC JSX111HD switch, 3x Component to 1x Component. Scart RGB to component just needs the right cable. You might find something similar on eBay

SCART RGB to component needs more than a cable they are 2 different beasts unless of course you can buy a cable with the black box built into it. Yes SCART-RGB cables are available but not intended for this purpose.
