Just purchased a really cheap 42" lcd AOC L42HA91 from ebuyer, (awaiting delivery) which has an inbuilt MPEG-4/H.264AVC decoder, question is what will that do. Also what is 3D MA deinterlacing, when its not a 3d tv?

The MPEG-4/H.264AVC thing is to do with over the air HD broadcasts.

From what I have read elsewhere this TV only supports DVB-T broadcasts.

So it's fine for SD freeview. But won't be able to show HD freeview as BBC HD and ITV HD are DVB-T2 broadcasts which the TV can't handle.

This means that you will stick need an external freeview hd box (or cable/sky) to access BBC HD or ITV HD broadcasts

Or maybe a usb tv stick? or a media player/hd via the usb connection?

Edit to add I don't think it has a usb input, must have been another model I looked at!
