Issues with BT Vision-style Ethernet Power Adaptors....help?

Hi all,

My Comtrends used to work a treat linking my hub to my PS3 downstairs.

Now I am getting the dreaded RED light on the 'Status' LED.

Is there a quick fix for this?

Just to give the full picture, the Powerline by the hub is plugged into the wall socket.

The Powerline by the PS3 is plugged into an extension block which include 3-4 other appliances.

Is this likely to cause an issue?

I recently added power to an external hard drive to the same extension block - this would possibly coincide with the Powerline issue. Am I possibly overloading the extension block?

If your units are like mine you plug them directly into a wall socket and attach the extension lead to the socket on the front. From what I remember about various reviews you never plug them into an extension cable.
