Sound Bars - talk to me
Discussion
Having moved into my new condo, I've become aware that my old 5.1 surround set-up looks a bit, well, rubbish to be honest, and I've damaged a couple of the speaker connectors in the move
I've seen these sound bars in the local shops, and wondered if they were a good replacement for a conventional system. A bit of googling has also confused me, as the reviews were talking about seperate satellite speakes and subs.
Would anyone have any good recommendations on these?

Bing o - I have not yet bitten the bullet yet (so can't exactly comment on the sound) but this has been recommended to me:

Reviews are pretty favorable, but all conclude the same - with regard to 'surround sound' they are not a match on a good 5.1 system.
On the plus side, they are very neat and avoid the need to trail st loads of cables all over the place.
