Got a couple of the Bose Sound Docks, they do what they say on the tin, can fill the room with sound that's perfectly good enough quality for background music.

Interesting. Would I not be limiting the quality of sound by having an AIO unit?

I have plenty of space for large speakers and seperates.
Given the original budget, and presuming you don't already have separates to integrate with (Amp etc), then AIO's such as the Zeppelin or Sonos will probably give you the best bang for your buck. If you are wanting to integrate BluRay etc, then go the separate route, but be prepared to spend more....
