Apologies if this may have been covered before, but I'm having problems trying to come up with the best solution to resolve me predicament.

I've recently replaced my 10 year old Samsung Plasma Display Panel and bought myself a nice new Panasonic TX-P42G20B TV with integrated Freeview / Freesat, but my problem now is that I need to be able to connect the aerial on the back of the TV but can't as I only have the 1 RF out on the back of the PVR/Freeview box which I need to use as that is the return link to a loft box.

Previously this wasn't a problem as my old Plasma wasn't a TV, just a screen and so got it's image via the scart from the freeview box. (see pic below).

There are several ideas that I think would work, but am open to alternatives and would just like a second opinion on what would be the best option without compromising the quality of signal.

1 - Split the cable from the outplet plate to then feed both the PVR and TV?

2 - Split the Return cable from the PVR to then go to the outlet plate and TV?

3 - Run a 3rd cable from the loftbox to the new Plasma TV and see it as an extra bedroom TV.

Help here is greatly appreciated.

Option one. Use a Y split, as long as the RF signal is good you'll be okay.

Or is the Radio feed on a separate cable? (doubtful but worth checking) If so use that as a return to the TV.

Thanks. However in my mind if I was to add it as per option 1, I'm weakening the signal from that point on, whereas if I was to go for option 2 the signal to the Freeview box will still be at full strength and it would only be the TV and the return that has been weakened.

No I've only got the 2 WF100s. The downlink/feed that combines radio, TV and Sat 1, and the return which does Sat 2 and is required for all the other loftbox outlets to operate.

Why is option 3 not worth considering? It is just another TV afterall!

Either way will work, as long as you get all Freeview channels, try both and see.

Re option 3, if you want to run in a cable go ahead, not worth it if option 1 or 2 works.
