Since upgrading to plasma we have a Sony Wega 28" CRT sat doing nowt, do people actually still want these?

Not bothered what it fetches.

We get 20 a week..all scrapped. Tried to give them to local hospices, hospitals, care homes etc ...no joy!

Nope.

Freecycle is a good option (giving it away free).

I sold a 28" Toshiba CRT, with surround sound speakers, and stand wtih built in sub. Sold on ebay, for the grand old sum of £5.10 !

Just cant get rid of these things anymore! Plus most modern small houses are not designed for bulky CRTs. If you have kids, keep in the spare room and use it for games console/dvd for the kid etc.
