Heard one of these in a New York Bose outlet they are £490 here but worked out at around £350 over there. Sounded impressive with just the right levels of bass. Can work your iphone/ipod wirelessly through bluetooth so no docking and also can wirelessly stream music from Itunes on to the system via a USB stick thingy (not using wifi strangely!).

Anyone here got one of these? I didn't bring one back with me as wasn't too sure but I have a mate coming back soon who can grab one for me if any good???

Seems similar to the Sonos S5 but this sounded much much better...

over to the Bose haters.......and lovers biggrin

Personally I think the S5 sounds better but its a different kettle of fish to the Soundlink. The Soundlink operates via a Bluetooth dongle that just pops in to any USB input on your PC. Will play up to about 20 metres fro mthe PC.

The speaker , similar sound to the ipod dock, also has a built in rechargeable battery, so pretty convenient for popping in the garden etc. Control of the music lists can be via the remote aimed at the speaker but doesnt let you actually select a certain track...only next track, volume and on/off.

Before you buy from the US check the charger is switchable from 110 to 240v
