I am pretty out of sync really with what to look for, to ensure a good picture and no motion blur.

Realistically, i cant go for a 40" as it would look out of place in the room, i am probably looking to entertain the idea of a 32 or the next size up...

IDEALLY wouldnt be keen on spending much more than 5-600 pounds.. is this unrealistic of me?

Not for a TV but as the title is semi relevant I'll leave this here...

Bought this for mother last week. Strangely enough I paid £30 less so I'm not sure why the price has gone up - still about £100 cheaper than I saw it anywhere else though.

OT - Sort off

This thing sounds a bit too good to be true, sort of like Sony have taken all the media (except gaming) out of a PS3 and stuck it in a new box.

Any one got one and confirm its as good as the reviews say it is? If so I can see me lining up some work in our Reading office on monday and picking one up at lunch biggrin

Oh, I've no doubts that the player is brilliant, look at AVForums.

Well after reading this thread, we've just been and bought said BR player for £70+VAT, win!

Just got to pull some network cable under the floors, not paying £60 for the Sony dongle...

rofl And to think when we bought our PX70 37"er, about 3 years ago, it was almost double that.
