You can't do 3D @ 1080p up a 1.3a cable.
Thats a shame - I have a high end HDMI in the wall. I am sure it will take the bandwidth as it was about £200 for a 3m run and I wanted to future-proof. That's annoying, is 3D on the PS3 going to be two 1080i pictures though?

I can live with 1080i 3D for now. My plasma at the moment is only 1080i anyway and to be honest it is difficult to tell the difference on 1080p set I've seen.
I dont think there is anything extra in a 1.4 lead over a 1.3 lead, the difference between the two are that a 1.4 lead has been tested and certified to work to the 1.4 spec. It is possible that a 1.3 lead will work at 1.4 spec its just that it hasnt been certified to work at 1.4 spec because 1.4 wasnt invented when the cable was certified if you get my drift
I have installed 3d sets with 3d bluray players and they have worked fine using 1.5m 1.3hdmi cables.
1.4 is so last week anyways, we are upto 1.4a now
