Connecting cable to amp
Discussion
Being the audio genius that I am I have aquired speaker cable with banana plugs at both ends (for free thank god). How on earth do I connect these to my Cambridge Audio 640a amp?
Help!
I'm guessing I strip the banana plug off and use the wire?

Those are different to what I (and OldSkoolRS) were referring to.
Looks as though you will need to remove the plugs from one end of your cables.
This is the rear of a Cambridge 540 with the blanking pins removed.
You can clearly see (right hand side) the sockets.

See the little end caps in the centre of the red and black screw downs of the ones you haven't removed?
Prise one of them out, all will become apparent.
Plotloss are those removable? They look as though they're moulded as part of the top? (although from what I've seen on here I trust your judgement).Prise one of them out, all will become apparent.
