Has anyone tried, either succesfully or with epic failure to repair scratched CDs or DVDs with one of those CD/DVD repair systems called "Skip Doctor" (Skip Dr)?? Are they any good, or the usual "As Seen On TV" junk?

I have a load of CD's that have show signs of wear & tear going in/out of car CD slots, and if one of these things can restore them, I might spash out on one.

When i had some scratches on some old cds in my collection that refused to play on any player, i ended using some T-cut.

Worked brilliantly.

A proper Piston Heads automotive derived answer! I did think about Farecla G3 compound, but my buffing machine may well melt the discs first.....
