My Aerial in my room has broken, it was kind of bodged together in the first place so thought I'd get it sorted. The cable comes down from the loft where the aerial is, and I have a male connection from the TV (Aerial extension lead) to connect to.

Just wondering what kind of connection I need to buy to attach to the end of this wire to connect to the male socket.

Hope it was a successful trip?

If not, the reason I had the links to hand were because I had needed to buy one very recently. The reason I needed to buy one was because I couldn't find the one I had stashed away somewhere safe ... well, I couldn't find it until about 24 hours after I had bought a replacement and fitted it! I have a spare one (of the latter kind) knocking about that I could pop in the post if you aren't in a hurry.

glad it's found a good home and can start to live out it's aerial connectory thing destiny, instead of being stuck in a dusty box!

As a total coincidence, I was out walking on Grey Crag this weekend (near the dam end of Haweswater reservoir) where I happened upon a metal box that used to be an aerial multi-connector thing for the cottages at the bottom of the valley (until storms took the mast down a few years ago, and all of the residents got satellite dishes installed instead) and that box was full of the things. I left them there to gently corrode away, and smiled a little "hmm that's a coincidence" smile to myself.

Very weird! hehe I got an adapter this weekend because I had male to male to join.. £7! Daylight robbery! I've come to the conclusion that its the aerial in the loft thats broken, so maybe need to hire a midget to get up there.
