Hi All,

I am about to purchase the following gear and could do with getting a few questions answered as I am relatively new to this AV stuff!

I have the following layout in my living room

Obviously with the Amp and PS3 in the cupboard I cant use the Amps remote to control the volume, settings etc and its a pain getting up all the time to adjust volume etc.

So I am going to purchase a Logitech Harmony 1100 and PS3 adapter thing, I obviously need the RF extender but the only one I can find is this one..

http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo.c...

But it says its for the 895 and 1000 remote? Will the 1100 I am purchasing work with this?? I can only find the one type of extender by Logitech.

Will the extender be suitable? Will it also work if I sat it on the shelves I have opposite all my AV gear (distance less than one metre away)

Thanks in advance

Rich

You can get the 1100 and an RF Extender as a bundle for a list price of £389

It will need to be the same side as the components as it uses IR blasters plugged into the back to relay the IR signals to the sources.

Personally I recommend and supply the 900 rather than the 1100 to clients.

It is easier to hold and use than the 1100.

And it comes with a RF base included in the price.
