I'm planning on getting one of these for my bedroom, I don't need anything special really but 'thin and light' is important as I'm hanging it off a sloping ceiling (see an earlier post)

I cannot seem to find the specs that will tell me if these TVs have an analogue tuner or not, I need one (I think) because I have my SKY box routed out over coax to my bedroom, so I can view SKY upstairs too (Downstairs is linked over HDMI & Optical).

Any expert advice greatly received as I might be talking nonsense

TIA

That's exactly the spec I found, hence the post. I agree I've never seen a TV without one, but I'm wondering if now that the analogue transmitters are being turned off whether or not the latest models do not have them?

Thanks for looking thumbup

Just to make 100% sure I'll ring our Samsung rep tomorrow. Dont forget that most of the world isn't ditching analogue yet so we're a small part of Samsungs customer base

We dont have the 5100 on demo but all other LED backlit models that we do have, have analogue tuners. Strange omission in the spec though.

Yup they do, but they have a very weird way of accessing them, well two ways.
1st way keep channeling down and you will find analogue ch99 below digital chanel 1
2nd way, if for example you want analogue channel 6 (for sky), press 6 (you will get digital channel 6) then press 6 again you then get analouge 6 (you have to wait a few seconds betwinn pressing 6 again or you end up with digital channel 66).

They have a button labelled AD that you would think is Analogue/Digital, it is infact Audio Descriptive wink
