As I've started to miss the BBC radio stations, I've taken to catching up on iPlayer. However, being tied to the computer isn't ideal, so I was wondering if any of the internet radio players (e.g. Logitech Boombox) could be configured to use iPlayer rather than just listening live. Thanks.

yes they can if you run the squeezebox server. I listen to iplayer all the time on my squeezebox radio, it's great, especially when controlled by ipeng on an ipod touch!

Thanks for that. I was trying to get away from having to leave the computer on all the time when listening - is that possible using something like RadioTime for example?

I'm fairly sure that it isn't possible on radiotime. I have a NAS with my music on, that runs squeezeserver so is not a problem being on all the time

Do you mind me asking which NAS you're running? I've heard that Squeezecentre can be used on some NASs (e.g. some QNAP ones) but it's a bit hit and miss...

All of my internet radios have the functionality built in - from the £30 Logik to the much more expensive pure evoke flow.

No servers required, just a wireless router.

I also have an Evoke flow and I didn't think it supported iplayer on its own .. I'll have to have another plays with it .. I know it does 'listen again' ..

AIUI listen again was just the "brand name" of iPlayer before it was renamed iPlayer.
