How do i get HD?
Discussion
Yep.
You can go a few different ways. Sky do a HD box, if you already have Sky and want to upgrade. Virgin Media do too, if you’re a cable subscriber.
For free over the air broadcasts in HD, you can choose between Freesat HD (which uses a dish) and Freeview HD (which uses your regular aerial).
Unless you’re interested in pay TV like Sky or Virgin, you probably want to go with Freeview HD. Be warned though, the system is quite new and thus expensive. It’ll come down in price over the next year or so.

Oh right its just a freeeview tuner, so do i need s seperate box under the tv?
Yes, if it's a normal freeview tuner that's built in, you'll need a Freeview HD box if you want to recieve an HD signal via you're normal aerial (and obviously live in an area where they're transmitting Freeview HD in that manner).Lastly, there's the FreeSat option that's been mentioned before.
