Squeezebox multi-room query

Have had a bit of a poke around Logitech's site and Google but couldn't find anything definitive, and their support email option is a pita...so before I try harder I thought I'd ask the PH massive.

Can the Squeezebox Radio and Boom be used as part of a multi-room set up with devices like the Duet?

In short yes they can.. They can all connect to the squeezebox server and stream your Mp3s to each device..

You can also control all of the devices from the server, and also via iphone/ipad apps

Can you link them so that they all play the same tunes at the same? I think what you've noted suggests they can but am being a bit dim I think...The Duet explicitly notes this, but the Radios don't (hence the dumb question).

I believe you can sync them via the queezebox server.. but this is only through reading the manual

Yes you can synch them all and add and remove zones as required.

I have a Reciever (the duet without the remote) and a radio and also run softsqueeze on the server PC. I use ipeng on the ipod to control synch but you can also control via the server app and I assume the remote from the duet package.

You can use the Squeezebox Remote (the one wiht the screen and scroll wheel), squeezemote or iPeng on iphone or ipod Touch or Squeezebox Server or mysqueezebox.com to sync all Squeezebox devices.
