What universal remote?
Discussion
My TV remote has just gone pop and it looks like a replacement is about £55 so what can I get as a replacement but as a universal remote?
The TV remote currently controls the PVR too which is why I haven't bothered with a universal up to now, but it would be nice to control the amp too.
Obviously now the TV remote is US I need a universal that doesn't need to learn off the current one assuming that's possible....
It's a Pioneer TV and PVR and an Onkyo amp

I'd for a Logitech, either the 525 or 555 which will cope easily with the number of devices you have. You use their software to programme your remote by inputting your devices (their database is huge) so no need for the ability to learn. Works via USB into a PC then you can programme yourself. Cheers, just a question of getting hold of one before we're driven insane by actually having to get up to change channel
Do a search under google's shopping search ... places like Play.com usually have them for decent money. We wouldn't want you straining a leg/back/neck having to get up and change channel!Gassing Station | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
