Panasonic Viera TX-P50X20B Plasma - £649
Discussion
Hello
I'm just about to start converting a spare room at home into a cinema/gaming room. My budget is very tight, mainly because it will only probably be used once a week so I don't want to go spending thousands.
I need to paint, carpet, and curtain the room, and of course get a new television.
I was in John Lewis last night, and spotted the 50" Panasonic TX-P50X20B for £649. Now, my first thought was that it was a bargain, but it seems to be a bit lacking in features.
Will I regret getting this TV do you think? I wanted to get the largest screen (of reasonable quality), but must admit I would be happy with a 46". I think I've talked myself out of it already.
Any other recommendations for around the same money?

S20 if you need the PC input functionality via VGA - full HD, Neo PDP panel, Freeview and FreeSat in-built.
Dont think thats got Freesat built in! Freeview HD yup..Has the 50" git a VGA in also? The 42" hasnt, much to my cost! You're right - VGA not in the S also, and can't think why I put FreeSat in there - as well as omitting the HD element of the Freeview tuner.

Thanks for the replies chaps. I quite like the look of that LG, so I'm going to pop into the local Richer Sounds and see if I can see one.
VGA-in isn't a massive problem in all honesty. I'm due to get a new laptop soon, so I'll ensure that has HDMI. Not too worried about Freeview either, as the TV will only really be used for PS3 games/Blu-Ray.
Cheers

Picked up my LG pk350 at the weekend but not had time to get it out of the box yet. Currys have them also if you are near one (regarding viewing it)VGA-in isn't a massive problem in all honesty.
