Q Acoustics upgrade from 1010i to 1020i worth it?

I currently use Q Acoustics 1010i on stands as my main front stereo pair of my 5.1 system but was wondering if its worth upgrading to 1020i's and they are now only £80.

Anybody done this, or is it only worth upgrading to decent floorstanders? I just looking for a bit more presence, and a fuller sound than the tiny 1010i's provide.

I've got a set of 1020i's at home that I'm using for ipod listening, they are lovely although I'm not convinced they'd be a worthy upgrade over the 1010 myself.


I've just ordered two sets of 2020i's in gloss white for a 5.1 system I'm building to replace my current Wharfedale setup... Stock is very hard to find so I'm having to wait until the end of June!
