Panasonic TX-P42S21B Question.

Comet are selling the Panasonic TX-P42S21B with a free Panasonic Blue Ray player and Sony digital frame for 700pounds at the moment. As I understand the only difference between the Panasonic TX-P42S21B and the TX-P42S20B is the stand.

Can Pistonheaders kindly tell me if this is a good deal or not?

Seems a good deal.

I wonder why Comet do this? The S20 is a good set, so they put one on the S10 pedistal and have it labelled up as a S21.. the mind boggles. Presumably its a warantee thing, maybe thet have bought it out from Panasonic so Pana relabelled them all as S21's so they know not to honour any claims from them.

Asked our Panasonic rep about this a couple of years ago. More down to stop people searching for an S21 and trying to find cheaper. I seem to recall there were a couple of other minor differences too.
