Shipping a plasma from UK - US - who to use?
Discussion
Will it also be ok with the different frequency? I.e. 60Hz vs 50Hz
A few folks I worked with who moved over here decided it was not worth moving a plasma tv.... however, they admittedly weren't as nice tv's being moved!!
Are you moving anything else? I would just use the same shippers who are moving the rest of your stuff - they are insured, so just make sure you check the TV at each end. Read the small print to make sure there are no rules about checking items before they are unloaded from the van etc.

That model has a region specific power supply. The North American market unit is 110V AC 50/60Hz, where the European model is 230V AC 50/60Hz.
The NA version has a NTSC Analogue tuner.
The EU version does SECAM and PAL.
The digital tuner for the North American market doesn't use the same DVB format that the European one does.
Best leave it there/sell it.
