I am wanting to buy two new TV's, a 32" for the kitchen and a 37" for the family room. Trying to get the best I can for around £1k budget.

I am currently tempted buy a Curry's offer two LG 5000's, full HD, four HDI sockets etc. They are 2009 models, but seem well specced and priced.

Or

My local indy dealer can offer me two Panny's, a TXL32X20 for the kitchen and TXL37S20 for the family room. These two only have three HDMI sockets, but come with 5 year manufactures warranty. Not sure I like the finish on these new Panny's, but want to buy on picture, sound quality above all else.

Any help appreciated.

Both make decent tellys, it's really up to whichever look better to you. I prefer Panasonic, personally.

Panasonic. Without a shred of doubt.

I take it you haven't read this forum before. Panasonic is the default answer to any TV question!

No Question about it, Panasonic all the way,
I'm waiting on the V20 Plasma from Pana due out in June it has the best of the Kuro technology along with the best of the Panasonic Neo PDP technology.
