X is 720p
G is 1080p
S is a G without the Freesat Tuner.
Thanks G is 1080p
S is a G without the Freesat Tuner.
So the G with the new Freeview/Freesat HD tuner built in would be the way to go then?
Freeview HD will only require your normal TV aerial although wont give as many HD channels and its not built into any of the current models yet as far as I'm aware.

If you can be assed with freesat (e.g putting a satallite dish on the side of the house) then go or it.

No, there won't be a dish going up, Freeview HD will do when it comes to my area. I'm guessing the HD tuner will work with SD until then.Freeview HD will only require your normal TV aerial although wont give as many HD channels and its not built into any of the current models yet as far as I'm aware.
Not a great TV watcher TBH, more movies on Blueray etc.
