what do you guys think of this deal, panny seem to be the way to go by all accounts and i wondered if this was a good deal?

ooks good to me.

Do you have a sat dish installed for the freesat though? If not you'll need to budget for that too.

i have sky hd already. does that make it a bad buy? i am not a tv buff

It's just that you would be paying for a pvr that you don't need. The sky+/hd box does that.

You just need a package with a screen and a blu ray player that's not also a pvr.

doh! yes of course, they do one a £100 cheaper that has a blu ray box free with it.

If you're going with the S20 deal for the fact it's 1080p, then spend the £130 extra and get the G20 with BR player deal instead.

Aye..

Also have a look at Marks & Spencer. They sometimes do these packages too and you still get a 5yr warranty. A mate got a 42" panny (G20 I think) with BR player for around £850 a few months ago.
