Good buy? ( quick answers needed, panny plasma)

It's a pretty decent price for a previous generation model, and does give you the 1080p native resolution - useful if you sit 5' from the screen, but if not, then nothing has been gained on that front.
Marginally better processing of the image, and better contrast ratio, but for not a whole lot more, you could be sitting in front of a 42X20 - latest gen, much improved CR, and improved processing engine.
£350 vs £500 - up to you to decide if the former wins over the latter.

Going to leave it based on the above.Marginally better processing of the image, and better contrast ratio, but for not a whole lot more, you could be sitting in front of a 42X20 - latest gen, much improved CR, and improved processing engine.
