ok, i decided to get rid of my old tv and want a shiny new one im looking preferably for

32"
1080p hd ready
built in freeview
100hz

and i have around 600 maybe stretch to 650 to spend i have been looking at the new samsung led but i have heard the sound isnt that good (sounded ok in the shop but it was loud and i didnt really hear it properly) however at a later stage i would intend on getting a surround sound so this doesnt worry me however the fact its brand new and problems that haven't had time to rise may do after i buy the tv.

so i was wondering if PH had any more suggestions on which tv to buy and also what they think of the samsung led tv that im originally looking at and also on the off chance if they know any tv's i can stream movies from a portable hard drive straight to the tv via usb?

any help appreciated!

Without sounding offish here, have you bothered to actually spend 10-15mins looking at any one of the plethora of threads dealing with the daily reoccurrence of "what TV?" ?

Once you've read a few, you'll soon have the answer to your dilemma, and maybe learn how "1080p HD Ready" is oxymoronic.
From there, you should be in a better position to gauge which TV is the one you should get for your viewing needs.
